COVID-19 guidance

Dear Parents,

The club and the leagues (DDSL / SDFL) that all of our teams participate in are monitoring the current situation around COVID 19 very closely.

The welfare of our players and their families is our primary concern at all times, but we are particularly conscious of this in the current environment.

The current position of the DDSL is outlined below and the SDFL has taken a similar approach:

The Dublin & District Schoolboys’ League would like to reassure our Clubs that we are monitoring this evolving situation closely.

The League will be guided by any directives issued from the HSE and FAI and will advise all our Clubs immediately in that event.

In line with current best practice/advice, the League are recommending that the pre/post match handshake should be suspended until further notice.

The club has taken the decision to follow the above guidance for now and will keep you informed as the situation develops.

If you have any concerns, please speak to your child's team manager in the first instance.
