Thanks to all parents who helped out with various activities over last weekend. The event was our biggest yet in terms of playing numbers and it would have been impossible to run without your assistance.
Remember that the second half of the season will kick off this coming weekend and there will lots of areas where we will require assistance.
Please get involved!
To Parents,
Our Blitz as you know is on this weekend.
We have a few asks:
- Let the kids have fun. We try to have even teams but sometimes it doesn't workout. Encourage the kids to keep trying..
- Encouragement, not direction from the sidelines.
- Managers job, is to make sure kids get equal playing time, and get to play different matches in different positions. The kids will look after the competitive side of things.
We would try to have no game with a bigger score difference of 3 goals. What can you do to help, if your team is winning easy, take best player off for a while, put them in goal, let other team have more players on the pitch, Get Creative.
Area's that parents can help with ? We would ask everyone to do a little task to help make sure the event is successful and support the small hard working organising team.
- We need people to monitor the Inflatable games that we will have
- We need parents to volunteer to manage teams, as above, no experience required, no competitive skills to be on show from Managers
- Helping with BBQ
- Baking some goodies to sell in the shop
- Putting Goals up at the start of play
- Putting Goals away at the end, and tidying park for our neighbours
- Help in the shop
Also, Please park considerately and don't block road or driveway access for our neighbours.
